Making our Parents Proud

In the article only daughter  by Sandra Cisneros her most remarkable point is that being the only daughter in a family of six sons was hard for her because she had to work harder to impress he father. Her father belives that women are only born to get married and have a husband. Speed aruges  being only a daughter for my father meant my destiny would lead me to become someone's wife. In a sense everything i have written has been for him, to win his approval. These concepts can be applied to anyone who is trying to impress their parents by doing better in school or by getting a great job. If the facts or concepts we've studied are valid, then what logically follows is that people wil go farther and farther to get the approval of their parents. Say if a parent has all girls then they want a boy the parents will pay more attenion to that child becaus they are the baby of the family, but being a middle child caqn be god sometimes, but it also can be bad sometimes too. I recommend that if you are a middle child you should take that opportunity as a gift because you have someone to look up too and because also your younger silbling can look up to you also. What you should consider now is that being a middle child is not all that bad, being a middle child is great because up have a older silbingt hat you can look up too and you have a younger silbling that can look up to you.

Music Of My Life

A soundtrack is music that can reflect the overall theme of a movie. It can also reflect the mood or a feeling of a certain character. The purpose of a soundtrack is to enagage people to new music or bands to discover others taste in music. The music that you have choosen to be on a soundtack gives people a idea about how that music relates to the movie or to the character. The three songs on my playlist are skyscraper by demi lovato, price tag by jessie j feating B.O.B and gald you came by the wanted. These songs all represent me in different ways.

    Skyscraper by Demi Lovato is about how people may try to tear you down from being successful and they may try to break your spirit untill you are nothing, but don't let the peoplen that said you can't stop you from being successful. I choose the quote but i'm standing on my feet as a important quote because there may be people that say you can't be this or be that but no matter what they say you are still standing on your own two feet. While in life there will be people who will be jealous about how successful you are and try may try to tell you this and tell you that, you will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper. Go run, run, run,but running away from the people that try to break you is not the right thing to do. The best way is to show them that they are not getting to you. I'm gonna stay right here not letting those people get to me. Go on and try to break me down, if people try to break you down don't let them just be you.  Some people love to  me while i bleed because they don't even care about anyone else but they only care about thierselves.I choose this song because it has a good message about how people may try to tear you down and crush your spirit, but don't let them just keep reaching for your dreams to come true. This song represents my goals and how i will not let people stop me from making my goals a reality. This song is important because it shows that even though there may be some people that say you can't don't let them stop you from achieving your goals.

    

        The next song on my soundtrack is by  Jessie J  feating B.O.B and  it is called price tag This song is about how money is not the most important thing and just take a break,rrelax and smile. I choose the quote money can't buy us happiness as the important quote because money may make us smile for a while, but in the end it can't us happy. It's not about the money,money,money because even though that having  money is  a good thing people that have too much of it can become obsessed with only having money. If we just forget about the price tag then we all can be happy with the life that we are living without the money. You can't put a price on a life just have fun with life without worrying about money, because you can have fun without money. Can we all slow down and enjoy right now with friends and family without having to worrying about if we have enough money. I choose this song because if seems like no matter where you go today if only seem that everyone only cares about having money and not just having fun and relaxing. This song represents me because in my life everyone is obsessed with money, but i am not i just want to live my life without having to worrying about having money all the time. This song is important because it tells about how people only care about money, but just forget about the money take a break and relax for a while.

        The last song on my soundtrack is by The Wanted and it is called glad you came. This song's main idea is to be happy, have new experiences and live life to the fullest. I choose the quote my universe will never be the same as the important quote because that one person can change your life for the better of for the worst. Can you spend a little time is saying that people are to busy with life that they can't take a break to enjoy the day. So let's go somewhere else can see you and me. Having a place where you can just go and have privacy is a good thing to have to that you can just go and get away from everything. Stay with me, I can make ,make you glad you came.people may reget going to a place, but their friends can make them happy that they came. If you think about doing something than do it do waste time thinking about it because time is slipping away. The best time to do it is here and now. I choose this song because i want to live my life to the fullest and have new experiences without any regrets. This song is important because we all should live life to the fullest and try to have new experiences while we are alive and living without any regrets.

     What my soundtrack says about me is that I have a happy personality even though I went though a lot in life I am still here and smiling. The goals that I have for my future I am going to make them a reality even though there might be obstacles along the way I won't give up untill they become true. Making a soundtrack is to enagage the reader to learn a little about what types of songs relate to you and to your life. If someone wants to make a soundtrack then I recommend about thinking how thoses songs that you picked related to you and how they relate to your life.

   Inocente a documentary short story directed by sean fine and andrea nix. No matter where you come from or no matter what you are going though we all want our dreams to come true. Inocente, the film directed by sean fine and andrea nix tells the story of inocente, a 15 year old girl who is homeless, but she wants to make her dream of being an artist come true. She blames herself for her family being homeless. Inocente and her family are illegal immigrant, they moved every 3 moths for 9 years. "l pretty much grew up homeless i never really had something to call home Inocente belives that in her life she didnt have anthing that she can call a house or a home. Being homeless is not something that anybody wants, nobody says in 5 yeas i want to be homeless. When you are homeless you don't wake up in the streets everyday you move around alot. When inocente's father was in the picture he beat her, her brothers, and her mom. The police came and they deported him back to mexico. When she paints she uses alot of bright colors too because she wants to make the world just a littler happier. She always have a connection to every painting that she paints. Painting  helps her escape from the pain that she felt in her past.Inocente is brave, couragous and talented because she has been though alot of pain in her life , but she is not letting go of her dream to become an artist. Inocente shows people no matter what you are going though in life you can make your dreams come true. Even though she is homeless, inocente never gave up on her dream because she was committed to having a better life. Inocente teaches us not to give up on what we believe. If you have a dreams then make those dreams come true.This idea impotant because having and believing in it can help you get there to achieve it. Also it is important because no matter what is going on in your life if you have a dream hen you can make it come true. Trying to make a difference in this world will help you with your dreams and hopes. Inocente never gave on her dream of becoming an artist, even though she had a lot of struggles in her life. She was just committed to making a positive change in her life.

It's Good to Be Different

Being different is not something to be ashamed of it should something to be proud of.It is good to be different because if we are all the same it would be boring. Being different is something really great. Instead of being ashamed of being different celebrate it. In the essay by Joshua Yuchaz he makes good points like in the past there was people who were different but they didn't let their differences stop them from achieveing their dreams. We are all different and that is not something to make fun of but to embrace it becaause they thing that makes you different is the one thing that makes you who you are. People should respected other people's differences because it will show that you have a open mid and not make fun of people because they are different from you. Having differences bewtween all of us are the things that makes us special. The differences that all of us have being different people will not respected it they will just make fun of us for being different. We should all respect each other's differences because that is the one thing that we all have in common being different but still living the same world.

Pets In Our Lives

When we think about our pets they are not just pets they are a part of family. We love then so much we spend alot of money taking care of them grooming them taking them on walks and also bathing them. Even though some of our family members don't like our pets they can teach us something special about love and life. Pets love everybody they don't jugde anybody they just have uncondition love for everybody and everything. In the essay by Sarah Culp Searles she said that even though she didn't like the family cat that animal teaches her something special about life and love.When we come home and we had a hard day our pets jump up on us and give us uncondtion love and then we just smile because we had a hard day and its nice to come home to something that has missed you allday. Animals have been around to lower stress and take the pain away from our busy lives and slow it down a little bit and relax. If someone has a animal they will be happy,sometimes they will be mad because they animal chew up their furniture or because they used the bathroom in the house but having an animal is a great thing to have in your life to lower stress and also to make you happy if you are sad. Love can come in all shapes and sizes animals don't care wheater you been to jail or if have a crimial record they just want to be love like everyone else. Animals have been proven to lower stress and people that have animals live a happier and better life. Some people deserve animals and some people don't but if you have a animal just make sure that you take care of it and don't beat it and then it ends up in the sheater and it gets put down. Animals are not like people they may fight they may not like each other but in the end they just love everybody and everybody loves them.

How To Tell People They Sound Racist The video titled how to tell people they sound racist shows how there is a difference between being a racist and making a racist comment. In the video by jay smooth he talks about the difference between the what they are conversation and the what they did conversation. Remembering that their is a big difference between being a racist and making a racist comment. Holding people accounable for their actions and words. The reason that i believe my assertion that being a racist and making a racist comment is different because being a racist somebody will say i don't like him or her because they are a certain color, but making a racist comment somebody will say only asians are bad drivers.Now that you see the difference between being a racist and making a racist comment what will you do about when you see someone making a racist comment? They will also understand what they did or what they said was wrong. If we all hold people accountable for their actions not their words they will be better for it.

Hiding Behind Your Emotions

Taking away someone's emotions you will also lose out in the end. In the image it leads me to understand it's meaning by the farmer planting the seeds. The tree is growing. On the tree there are ears, eyes, a heart, a brain and a mouth. The first thing that he does is he cuts out off the mouth he doesn't want the plant to talk. The plant is screaming and yelling. Then the farmer cuts off the heart, the eyes and the brain. . He just left the ears. The farmer is yelling at the plant. My interpretation of the image is that why is the farmer taking away the plants emotions if he doesn’t have them himself. It also I see when he cut of the mouth the plant is yelling and screaming. Then he cuts of the heart the plant is crying, he cuts of the brain and the eyes just left the ears. The image is important because it shows what happens when you take away some of people's senses. The image is worth knowing because people can sometimes shut down to protect their feelings and emotions.
